Netto with flair - façade with character and fire protection

In the shadow of Denmark's third tallest residential building is a small but eye-catching Netto supermarket.

Although the building is rather discreet in size, it attracts attention - not least because of the characteristic yellow logo, which is mounted on a façade that clearly stands out from classic Netto stores.                                                                                                                      

For this upgrade, the façade was clad with Thermo Ash Lamellae impregnated with Burnblock's sustainable flame retardant. This is the only one on the market that has received full accreditation, approval and classification in accordance with EN 16755.

The façade has been tested accordingly and is classified as B-s1, d0 - for a high level of fire safety without having to compromise on an aesthetic appearance.

Lamellae measuring 40x40 mm and 40x126 mm were used, mounted with a center-to-center distance of 58 mm. The underlying system is our patented Woodfac Panel - a closed façade solution that also serves as weather protection and effectively protects the building.
