FASSADEN SYSTEM: Woodfac Click

Remarkable conversion

Aggersvold Estate is a beautiful gem in West Zealand, Denmark, consisting of several different buildings.

In 2023, the estate's facilities were converted into a modern meeting and conference hotel, with the former riding hall now housing some beautiful hotel rooms.

The old stable building was characterized by a special red-colored wooden cladding that ran like a ribbon around the entire façade.

In keeping with the origins of the building, the architectural and heritage character of the red "ribbon" was continued, which today also serves as sun protection.

The sun protection, which consists of colored and fire-resistant thermal louvre blades, was designed with the Woodfac Click façade system from Nordisk Profil.

This so-called "open" façade solution is perfect for a shading solution in which the slats are installed vertically to provide a natural and not least original shading solution for the benefit of hotel guests.

The slats are designed in lengths of 24x142 mm and mounted with a center distance of 192 mm. They are also fire-impregnated, system fire-tested and certified to B-s1,d0. And the special feature of these wooden slats is the surface treatment (fire color) with Swedish Red.
