Nordisk Profil is the façade supplier for two hospitals to date, in which wooden slats form an essential part of the architecture.

In 2023, Rigshospitalet opened the Bodil Eskesen Centre, where cedar wood slats were chosen for a design that focuses on warm materials, daylight and close contact with the surrounding nature. Read more about the project at Bodil Eskesen Center inaugurated |AART.

Another example is the regional hospital in Horsens, for which the exclusive Accoya slats were chosen.

Each component of Nordisk Profil's façade systems is designed and assembled to be easy to dismantle and rebuild, which helps to ensure that the individual parts can be easily reworked into new products. It is just as easy to remove the slats and suspension system and reuse them for another façade project
