Open
Facade system

Napsu is a façade solution with clean, sharp lines, quick installation, a long service life and sustainable documentation.

It is an open Facade system like Woodfac Click, with the difference that Napsu is a façade solution with aluminum panels instead of wood.

The open system offers a fine view of the building's load-bearing façade, which makes it possible to compose a lively architecture created by light, shadow, materials and design.

The system offers corner solutions, various cover profiles, solutions for curved facade and reinforcement profiles that allow a large free span both horizontally and vertically.

Napsu is also an ideal system for technical screening. It is both attractive and practical, and the flexible design of the Lamellae makes it possible to achieve different degrees of shielding. You can find more information here.

How to install the system

Woodfac Click is a unique system with a large louvre panel on a bagged aluminum structure. With the help of bygningens bærende facade it is possible to compose a levende arkitektur, skabt gennem lys, skygger, materialer og design.

Woodfac Click is particularly well suited to the design of parking sheds.
The new facade system does not give parking sheds a visual wow-effect. This gives many parking garages a smooth appearance, but does not allow them to look like their surroundings.

With a lamellar coating, you get the opportunity to construct a fleet and durable parkeringshuse with a natural and warm finish that develops a soft patina over time.

Woodfac Panel is a lukewarm system that functions as an air conditioning system. The system consists of a valgrie trælameller mounted on an aluminum panel.

Alupanelerne has a ventilation system that ensures that the facades can be "opened".

Aluminum lamella

The Lamellae, the structure and the profiles of the façade system are made from certified recycled aluminum.

^Greenline® aluminum is made from 100% collected and recycled aluminum and has an extremely low carbon footprint of only 1.8 kg CO₂-eq./kg, compared to primary aluminum, which has a footprint of 11.1.

Thermal movement

Thermal movement refers to the natural expansion and contraction of materials as a result of temperature fluctuations.

Thermal movement is integrated into all our facade solutions so that the individual components can move independently of each other. This ensures that there is no internal stress, strain or structural damage to the individual components or the entire façade solution.

Simple assembly

The Facade system is a special plug-and-play system that is reminiscent of building with LEGO.

During anodizing, the natural oxide layer on the surface is reinforced and thickened so that the material itself forms an additional protective layer. Anodizing offers the possibility to choose different visual appearances, including colors and glossy, matt or brushed surfaces. The anodized Lamellae remain elegant for decades and require no maintenance.

Aluminum slats can be treated with a powder coating in a variety of colors, patterns and surface finishes.

The powder coating ensures a robust and hard-wearing surface that protects against corrosion, wear and tear and other influences.

Another special feature of the facade from Nordisk Profil is that it is installed completely without visible screws. This gives the façade a clean and clear appearance that is not disturbed by drill holes in the beautiful wooden slats.

LOW CLIMATE FOOTPRINT AND UNIQUE SERVICE LIFE

Nordisk Profil has the only sustainable Facade system on the market with certified sustainable Greenline aluminum.

We offer Greenline certificates and EPD reports that document a low climate footprint and the best EPD values on the market. This guarantees sustainable construction.

Greenline aluminum is made from 100% collected and recycled aluminum and consumes only 5% of the energy needed to produce primary aluminum.

Aluminum facades are maintenance-free and have a life expectancy of over 70 years. However, the actual lifespan of aluminum is not known, as 75% of all aluminum produced is still in use and more than 50% is still in its first form.

Light but robust façade

Aluminum is a very lightweight material and has an impressive strength to wall thickness ratio compared to many other structural metals such as steel and other materials.

This means that our Lamellae, profiles and components are both lightweight and robust, which is an advantage for facade, where weight reduction can be important, and not least when handling, transporting and installing the façade solution.

Aluminum is also naturally corrosion resistant, which makes it ideal for outdoor facade solutions as aluminum does not degrade over time. Up to 70 % of all aluminum produced is still in its first version.
