The butterfly park

ARCHITECT: Levehuse

FACADESYSTEM: Woodfac Panel

With Danish flair

In 2023, a new residential complex called the Butterfly Park was built in Silkeborg.

Here, 24 senior apartments are connected by small gardens and a system of paths, which together create a shared atmosphere in the beautiful community.

The Butterfly Park was built by Levehus, who chose a classic Danish and modern architectural style in the form of clean lines with red brick as the main element of the façade.

What all 24 houses have in common is the installation of thermal louvres at the entrance. They not only give the classic bricks a beautiful and warm touch, but also have a practical function.

The slats are our Woodfac Panel façade system, which serves as a climate screen and protects the façade. Here they are selected in 34x34 mm and mounted with a cc spacing of 70 mm.

The system is supplied with a wide range of accessory profiles for processing and edging doors, windows (clearance profiles) and other façade elements. This makes it easy to combine the wooden slats with other façade materials and achieve beautiful results. Butterfly Park is a good example of this.
