Atriet
206 student apartments with architectural diversity
In Amager (Denmark), Nordstern recently developed and built 206 new student apartments.
The Atriet project, designed by Danielsen Arkitekter, consists of two five-storey longitudinal buildings, a large glazed atrium courtyard and a communal roof terrace.
The architecture of the building is characterized by an exciting variety of materials. The construction was made of concrete and clad with grooved exposed concrete, red bricks and Lamellae made of wood and aluminum - giving the façade a dynamic and lively appearance.
Nordisk Profil supplied all the façade louvres, which are 42×42 mm in size with a center-to-center distance of 79.5 mm.
The sustainable Greenline aluminum slats were chosen in RAL 7008 and create a harmonious interplay with the warm red tone of the bricks. Lamellae pine slats were also used as an additional design element - particularly around doors and windows, on the roof terrace and on the technical buildings, installed with our Woodfac Click Facade system.
The aluminum slats were installed with our Napsu Facade system , which - just like Woodfac Click - is an open Facade system . It allows a clear view of the building's load-bearing structure and creates space for creative design through the choice of materials and slat rhythm.
Regardless of whether wood, aluminum or a combination is used - our systems are also available as closed solutions that serve as weather protection and protect the building in the long term.
All facade solutions from Nordisk Profil meet the latest fire safety requirements and can be supplied with fire-impregnated Lamellae and full technical documentation.
Feel free to contact us if you would like to find out more about the system or see how easy it is to install in practice.
